Current Favourites #2

Hello and happy 100th blog post!!
I thought I'd share my current favourites with you all as the seasons are changing and there is so much I've been loving over the last few months.
First off has to be this Rimmel nail varnish in colour 402 - Urban Purple. It's the perfect transitional colour as its not dark enough to be classed as a winter colour but also not the typical pastel shades you'd expect to wear throughout summer.
Two coats of this nail varnish is the perfect amount for a good coverage. It has the perfect amount of shine too and looks amazing with a small glitter top coat.

Where Do I Begin...

I don't even know where to begin with telling you about what's wrong with me as it's not something I've told many people.

At the end of May I started to get some bad pains in my left leg, I still managed to get on with my life even if it was a struggle at times. However, I was so fortunate to have my amazing family and fiance around me to help me through. After struggling for a few weeks I decided it was about time to find out what the problem was (even though in the back of my mind I already knew, as I see my Dad go through exactly the same thing  day in day out) it turned out I had sciatica in my leg - the nerve in my back was being aggravated in some way and sending horrendous pains down my leg.

Something To Think About...

A lot of people have tattoos, scars, freckles, stretch marks and bruises. A lot of people that would try and remove the majority of these things, it is quite astonishing! The amount of lotions and potions that are available to get rid of scars and stretch marks make us think that they're ugly or that having them is not the norm.

However, think about it like this...

Every single one of us started out as a blank canvas, right?!

Tattoos, are images that you love, something you want to make a part of who you are!

Scars and bruises show that you've took some bumps and falls along the way but have got up and carried on!

Freckles, the way to show that the sun and shone and you have enjoyed every single second of it!

Stretch marks are an indication of us growing up and becoming who we are today!

All of these things are beautiful, just proves that every mark on your body shows that you have lived and are still living to this day.

Just something to think about!

Bedroom Tour!

My bedroom is my little sanctuary, it's where I go to escape from the world. Living in such a busy house it's nice to come up to my room and get some much needed peace and quiet.

It seemed only natural to show you bits and bobs throughout my room after giving you a little tour of my dressing table. However, this is going to be a little different than normal, so I'm going to show you some of the things in my room.
Ikea plant pot with Yankee Candle inside (Pink Sands), Plaque from B&M and Transformers figures belong to my boyfriend...he insists on having some of his 'manly' bits and bobs around our room.

My Dressing Table Tour!

My favourite part of my room is my dressing table; it's where I do my make-up, paint my nails, style my hair and store everything that I may need. The unit (£20) and draws (£18 for 2) are from Ikea, they are so spacious and allows me to hide all of my mess.

April Round Up!!

April has been a pretty weird month, there have been so many ups and downs and I'm slightly glad it's over! However, I thought I'd share some pictures with you all that sum up my month...
